My name is Robin Williams a.k.a Robbie. I am a native of the Bronx, NY, first generation born to Jamaican parents, and I am the Owner of Bowtie Behavior. I hold a B.A. in Journalism from the University of D.C. and an M.A. in Sports Management from Georgetown University. 

 

Bowtie Behavior is a genderless bow tie brand created to bridge the gap between affordability and style while helping people feel good when they look in the mirror.

 

I founded Bowtie Behavior in 2014 when I was looking for a bow tie to wear to my best friend’s bow tie-themed engagement party. I could not find one that was affordable and fit my style so with no formal education in fashion or design, I taught myself how to sew and made my own. I got such positive feedback that I decided to continue making them!

 

Bowtie Behavior creates pieces that are bold and flavorful - pieces that outfits are built around. Bowtie Behavior's street-style approach to formal wear takes the intimidation out of bow ties making them accessible to all.
